Waka Huia are made to standard size, approx 43cm (17”) long from handle to handle, 20cm (8”) deep (from top of lid to bottom), mounts approx 13cm (5”) high and 5cm (2”) wide, base matches length and width of Waka Huia and a couple of inches deep – 5cm and weighs 1.5 - 2kg.  The uprights which Waka Huia sits on come in varying styles, and in the case the Manaia has been used.   Several variances to Waka Huia can be achieved and this will determine price, eg smaller with less patterning will cost less.  A very prestigious gift to own or be given. 
Waka Huia take time to make as alot of detailing is involved - allow up to 2 weeks to complete.

The Waka Huia can be made to order or custom made personalised to recipient's request (genealogy etc).
