Kaitiaki image can be with or without the names of each Kaitiaki.
Puzzle size is 80cm x 60cm, Blocks size 4.5cm x 12cm.
Match the blocks to images on the puzzle.
Puzzle cut leaving Kaitiaki images whole, making it a versatile resource, magnetic board (apply magnetic tape to back of each image, story telling, other activities.
Getting to know our Kaitiaki and the realm they look after.
Do the puzzle and place the block on the correct Kaitiaki. The blocks have the name of each Kaitiaki and who they represent. The puzzle shows the realm whom they represent.
The small blocks can also be used for building, e.g. build a volcano and place Ruaumoko on top as the Kaitiaki of Earthquakes and Volcanoes. Blocks can also be used as an activity. Using a pencil, not crayon as there're too thick, shade the block and the image will transpire onto the paper (rubbing). May even be able to use the block in kinetic sand, press into sand to leave the impression.
Puzzle image can be ordered with or without the names. When ordering without the names on the image, image with the names of each Kaitiaki will be emailed to you for your reference.
